Keep Your Home: Loan Modification Workshop – Saturday, June 26

Country Club Hills, IL–(ENEWSPF)– On Saturday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to noon, the Chicago Community Trust and affiliates, in collaboration with the Illinois Housing Development Authority will host ‘Keep Your Home: Apply for President Obama’s Loan Modification Program’ at Thornwood High School, 17101 South Park Avenue, South Holland, IL. Find out how the new federal foreclosure prevention program can help you stay in your home. Get free, on-site assistance from a trusted source. All borrowers on the loan must be present and should bring copies of the following documents to the workshop:

  • Two most recent pay stubs
  • Two most recent bank statements
  • Real estate tax bill
  • Homeowners insurance bill
  • Most recent utility bill
  • Most recent tax return (2008 tax return will all schedules and W-2s)
  • Most recent mortgage statements for both first and second mortgage, if applicable
  • Proof/documentation of income from any other sources such as alimony, child support (judgment letter), Social Security income (award letter)
  • Profit-loss statement if you are self-employed
  • Account balances and monthly payments on all other debts including: homeowner association/condo fees, credit cards, student or car loans, child support and alimony
  • If you have rental income, you must bring the signed lease agreement(s); and Rent receipt(s) or signed letter(s) from occupant(s) confirming rent amounts.
