Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Village of Park Forest held a welcome event for new residents at the Holiday Star Theater in DownTown Park Forest Friday night. About 150 residents turned out for an evening of food, movies, and the chance to learn about the amenities in the Village, as well as clubs and organizations from around the area.

Organized by Director of Community Relations Evelyn Sterling and others on staff, Park Forest Ambassadors were on hand as well to volunteer.

A number of clubs and organizations were in attendance as well, including the Far South Suburban NAACP, the Park Forest Garden Club, the Boy Scouts, and more.
