Reclaim Chicago Set for Primary Push on Saturday, March 12 after Bernie Sanders’ Upset Win in Michigan

Kim Foxx, Other Endorsed Candidates Speak at Rally on Saturday, March 12 as 150 Volunteers Kick Off Get-Out-The-Vote Effort

CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—March 10, 2016. With their endorsed candidate for president, Bernie Sanders, picking up steam, Reclaim Chicago’s army of volunteers will head over to Bridgeport at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at First Lutheran Church of the Trinity, 643 W. 31st St., Chicago, for a rally to kick off get-out-the-vote efforts on behalf of their slate of endorsed candidates in the Tuesday, March 15 primary election.

Reclaim’s brand of transformational politics, which focuses on drawing voters out on what challenges their families and communities face, fits right in with that nation’s growing political revolution. The volunteers will get training on the organization’s methods for engaging voters and then hit the phones for one last contact with supporters to ensure they can get to the polls.

Cook County State’s Attorney Candidate Kim Foxx will be a featured speaker, delivering her message of justice for all. She will be appearing with other endorsed candidates and elected officials that gained office with Reclaim support.

Leaders and activists from Reclaim Chicago and it’s two supporting groups, National Nurses United and The People’s Lobby, more than 150 strong; volunteers of all races and all ages from every corner of the city, comprising religious, labor, student and community activists.
