Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 1198 is holding a golf outing on Saturday, September 5, 2008 at Lincoln Oaks Golf Club in Crete, Illinois. This past year SAL 1198 provided NOMEX hoods to a reserve unit deployed in Iraq, assisted with dinners for veterans from the Manteno Veterans Home, built a ramp for a handicapped veteran, sponsored a blood drive and assisted with funding for local youth athletics. All proceeds of this event will be used to provide support for active members of the armed services, veterans and their families. Several sponsorship levels are available. We hope you will consider joining us.
$75 per golfer includes:
- 18 holes of scramble golf with cart
- 12 noon check-in/lunch on the course
- 1:00 p.m. shotgun start
- Complimentary beverage holes
- Numerous prize holes
- Steak dinner with open bar at the post
Steak dinner with open bar only is $20 if paid before September 1, 2009, $25 after.
You may sign up with the Post bartender.
Major Corporate Sponsorship – Honor Guard Level is available for a $500 donation. Your company name and/or logo will be placed prominently on our outing welcome banner. (Limited to four corporate sponsors.)
Hospitality Hole Sponsorship is available for a $200 donation. Your company name and or logo will be placed on one of our hospitality holes. (Limited to four corporate sponsors.)
Prize Hole sponsorships are available for a $100 donation.
Tee or Green sponsorships are available for a $50 donation.
Prizes in lieu of monetary donations are also very much appreciated.

The Sons of the American Legion is attached to Park Forest American Legion Post #1198, a not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
