Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Tattlers Bar and Grill held its 2nd Annual Chili-Book-Off Saturday. The event benefits the Park Forest Public Library, and featured a variety of chili recipes to please any palate. Owner and Park Forest resident Barbara Price-Gallagher said on Facebook the event raised just over $200, as well as five cases of books, all to be donated to the library.

For only $5.00, patrons received a paper ballot and all the chili they cared to taste. Supporters were also asked to bring books for donation to the library.

John Johnson of Park Forest won first place for his Buffalo Chili. Don Moore, also of Park Forest, took second place for his Yucatan Chili, and Brian Gallagher of Richton Park won third for his "Whatever" Chili.
