Chicago, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Cook County Clerk David Orr unveiled a new video aimed at encouraging suburban Cook County residents to participate in Tuesday’s Consolidated Election.

"One vote really does make a difference, so be heard by casting your ballot," Orr said.

The 1-minute animated video highlights how coin flips broke ties for local races in 2007 and 2009, and a candidate won by just one vote in 2011.

The video was produced by the Clerk’s video intern, Cody Davis, a DePaul University digital cinema graduate student.

Orr encourages people to share the video and spread the word about the importance of voting. You can also visit the Clerk’s Video Archive or subscribe to the Clerk’s CookCountyClerk1 YouTube page to view more videos about elections, vital records and more.
