TT Saffore
CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—October 3, 2016. A vigil will be held on Wednesday, October 5 to celebrate the life of TT Saffore, a black transgender woman who was killed last month on the West Side of Chicago. The vigil will take place at the Broadway Youth Center, 615 West Wellington Avenue in Chicago beginning at 6 p.m. The event will feature black, transgender speakers and performers.
The night will honor TT’s life, as well as those of other black, transgender people lost to intra-community and state violence. All are invited to come and show their support.
