Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– With its performance of "President Cleveland: Where are you?," the Marian Catholic High School actors earned third place at the IHSA state meet Saturday in Group Interpretation. Marian actually finished just one point out of first-place Oak Lawn and tied in points with state runner-up Homewood-Flossmoor.
Marian had four performers earn All-State Cast honors, including Jonathan Williamsen, Tim Blewitt, Chris Skurka and Sean O’Sullivan. The Group Interpretation cast from Marian was also represented by Alex Gallinaro, Mike Friar, Tony Vaughn and Ali Schwieger on sound. The group is coached by Mark Donaway .
Marian also won the championship in Group Interpretation at the TF South Sectional competition.
