Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The Park Forest Village Board will hold a Rules and a Regular Meeting on Monday, November 26, and the Board Of Illinois Community College District No. 515, Prairie State College, will meet on Tuesday, November 27, at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room (No. 2274) at the college. The Regular Meeting of the Park Forest Village Board includes first reading of the proposed tax levy beginning on July 1, 2007 and ending on June 30, 2008. If passed, the levy would represent a 3.3% increase.

The agenda for the Rules Meeting includes the following:

Among the numerous items on the Prairie State College agenda are a motion to accept the retirement of Mr. Robert Fairbank, Director of Athletics & Physical Education, effective, August 20, 2009; a motion to approve the full-time faculty overload compensation in the amount of $2,764.50, adjunct faculty compensation in the amount of $39,073.90, and compensation for staff on teaching assignments for credit courses in the amount of $755.00, for the second eight weeks of the 2007 fall term; and a motion to approve adjunct faculty compensation in the amount of $70,804.00 and compensation for administrators and staff on teaching assignments in the amount of $3,235.00, for non-credit courses, for the second eight weeks of the 2007 fall term.
