PSC to Host Job Fair on April 21

Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– In today’s highly competitive job climate, job fairs are a great way for job seekers to explore potential employment opportunities and learn more about companies who are actively hiring. Prairie State College (PSC) invites job seekers to attend its annual Spring Job Fair. The job fair will be held on Tuesday, April 21, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the atrium of the college, located at 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.

The job fair is free and open to the public. Company representatives will be recruiting for both full- and part-time positions. For a complete listing of companies and the positions they are hiring for, visit prairiestate.edu and click on Spring Job Fair: April 21.

It is required that attendees dress in professional business attire. Attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of résumés. No pre-registration for the job fair is required.

“Many people see a job fair as something as serious as a first interview, while others view it as an opportunity to gather information about potential employers,” said Tanya Norfleet, coordinator of career development services at PSC. “As with a job interview, how you represent yourself sends an immediate message to employers about how serious you are in your job search.”

For more information about the job fair, contact Norfleet at (708) 709-3755 or Ramien Manson, career advisor, at (708) 709-3922.
