N.B. Per information provided by Chief Thomas Fleming at the 10/20/08 Village Board meeting, there will be no free movie at the Eagle Theater Park Forest from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Park Forest Police Department invites you and yours for a spooktacular, good time this year at the annual Safe Halloween event.
Trick or treating will take place from 5-6 pm just across the street at Main and Cunningham Drive. Join hundreds of trick or treater’s Downtown, where local businesses, Village officials, staff members and volunteers will be on hand to distribute a trick or a treat to the kids.
The costume contest beginning at 6 pm in the former Marshall Field’s Building is sure to be a thriller. Dance to the tunes spun by a live dj, while a panel of judges will be on hand to provide more cheers than boo’s.

Please note- Trick or treating in the Downtown as part of the Safe Halloween event takes place from 5-6 pm, however, trick or treating hours for all of Park Forest will be from 2 – 6 pm this year.
