Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Algonquin Primary Center in Park Forest-Chicago Heights School District 163 recently honored 33 volunteers for the 307 hours they have given to the school from October through April of this school year. Principal Caletha White also cited top volunteers Kim Simmons, 40 hours, Isola Wilson, 35 hours (Ms. White noted that Ms. Wilson comes to Algonquin every day so her hours are probably more but Ms. Wilson does not log every hour she volunteers), and Ann Mills, 32 hours.
All three women have grandchildren who are Algonquin students. Mrs. White also recognized Bob Brown who recruited members of his church, Calvary United Protestant Church, to serve as volunteers.
