SOUTH HOLLAND, IL—(ENEWSPF)—September 3, 2013. South Suburban College (SSC) will once again host Career Development System’s (CDS) 24th Annual College & Career Expo, Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Fitness Center.
The Expo is an excellent opportunity for grade school and high school students and their parents to explore a wide range of college and career options at one time, in one location. There is no admission fee, parking is free, and the event is conveniently located at SSC’s Main Campus.
This cooperative venture is designed to provide the most current information available regarding educational opportunities across the country. More than 120 universities, colleges, and technical schools, armed forces and construction trades will be featured at Expo 2013. Career programs taught at SSC will be highlighted and “Parents’ Place” will feature resources.
New this year: there will be a student raffle for an Apple iPad and a $100 Visa gift card.
The College & Career Expo 2013 is open to all residents of the area who are interested in furthering their education.
