University Park, IL-(ENEWSPF)- “How much is really new in Language Arts?” is the question answered at a free workshop for educators on Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Governors State University.
This professional development workshop offers educators the opportunity to explore Common Core State Standards in English and Language Arts and their impact on instruction. The workshop is facilitated by Judy Johnstone, Literacy Consultant and Co-Director of the Illinois Writing Project.
Certified teachers will also earn three CPDUs for attending the workshop. Information about Governors State University education graduate programs will be available. Continental breakfast is provided. Seating is limited.
