GMAT Prep Classes at GSU


University Park, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) at Governors State University is offering GMAT preparation courses. The non-credit courses prepare students who plan to take the GMAT, an admission requirement for many graduate programs.

The GMAT Basic Math Refresher Series helps students relearn math concepts and skills such as fractions, decimals, basic algebra, and basic geometry. The class will be held on Saturdays, January 16, 23, and 30, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost for all three sessions is $150.

The GMAT Prep Series concentrates on the quantitative and verbal sections of the GMAT. Topics to be reviewed include data sufficiency, ratios and proportions, word problems, fractions, and percentages, as well as reading comprehension, critical reasoning, sentence correction, and analytical writing. This series will be offered on Saturdays, February 6, 13, 20, 27 and March 6 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in room B2202. The cost of the six sessions is $300.

Both the Basic Math Refresher and the GMAT Prep Series may be taken for $425. Classes are taught by GSU faculty.
