Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)- eNews Park Forest continues with our series of stellar students from Rich East High School. Mr. Kevin Kredens, the school’s publicity liaison, provides each student a series of the same questions. We are pleased to feature Jasmine Noble, a 13-year resident of Park Forest and enjoys French class and the History of Thought of Western Man, for starters.

Meet Jasmine Noble:

Are you a Park Forest Resident? How long?  Yes, I have been a resident of Park Forest for 13 years.

At Rich East all four years? Yes. I have been at Rich East all four years.

What do you like the most about Rich East? Some of the teachers.

Favorite classes and why?  On average, French Class and History of Thought of Western Man.

Favorite teachers and why? My favorite teachers/coaches are Mr. (Rocco) Rado, Ms. (Marisa) Ptak, Mr. (Mark) Adamczyk, Mr. (Sean) Coughlin, Mr. (Robert) LaFrance,  Madame (Nissa) Conway.

GPA/Class Rank.  My overall GPA is 3.551. My class rank is 22nd/202.

ACT:  I earned a 27 on my ACT.

Areas met or exceeded on PSAE.  Science, Math and Reading.

AP Exams: I received a 3 on the AP American History Exam and a 3 on the AP English Language Exam. In May, I will be taking the AP Biology, AP English Literature and AP World History exam.

What are you listening to on your iPod these days? I’m listening to Trance (a genre of electronic dance), video game soundtracks and piano/orchestrated music.

What is the last book you have read? Whatever my teacher tells me to read, unfortunately.

Favorite TV Shows: Dexter (the serial killer), True Blood, Adventure Time and Japanese animation make up about 75 percent of the list.  

Places that you’d most like to visit: Paris, anywhere in Japan and Alaska.  

Activities/Athletics/Clubs  participated in/Special awards: Scholastic Bowl, Gay Straight Alliance, Tennis, Thespians. 

Clubs, hobbies, community/church. Special volunteering in community: At schools, I volunteer sometimes. I play video games and draw.  

College choice/Major: I will be attending Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal. I will major in zoology and minor in French.

Where do you want to be in five years/In ten years? In five years, I may still be in college finishing my major, or maybe I’ll be in France. Within 10 years, I hope to have completed my master’s and doctorate degrees in zoology.
