Jodelka Named Dean, Corporate and Continuing Professional Education at PSC

Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Edward Jodelka is the new dean, corporate and continuing professional education at Prairie State College (PSC).

In his new position, Jodelka directs and oversees the operations of the Illinois workNet Center, Matteson Area Center, Corporate and Continuing Education, Business and Community Education Center, and Transportation, Warehousing, and Logistics.

Prior to coming to PSC, Jodelka was the college and outreach liaison for the Illinois Region at DeVry University. He provided input and assistance with the Tinley Park Campus Management as a member of the Campus Executive Committee. Among his various responsibilities, he managed multi-level relationships with 25 community, junior, and city colleges and provided training and direction to the college and transfer programs.

Jodelka was active on several committees including serving as the president of the Private Illinois College and Universities, a member of the South Metropolitan Higher Education Consortium, and the member of the DuPage Area Occupational Education System Advisory Board.  

Jodelka also has over 30 years of professional experience. He was the director of engineering at Wagner Systems, Inc.; the manager of automated systems at Binks Sames Corporation; and vice president of operations, administration, and purchasing at Radiant Products Company.

“Ed brings a wealth of knowledge to the division including extensive experience within education at all levels, university, community college, and high school, which includes building relationships and structuring educational partnerships,” said Terri Winfree, vice president, community and economic development.  “Additionally, Ed has approximately 30 years working in the business and industry arena which will position him very well to oversee the range of departments in his area.”
