Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Marian Catholic High School will host Girls in Golf on July 1, 2017 in conjunction with the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club. Thanks to gracious sponsorships by the Exelon and KPMG corporations, young women ages 8-18 will have the opportunity to participate in a complimentary golf lesson conducted by First Tee, meet some of the top women leaders in Chicago, and watch the WPGA pros in action. The outline for the day includes:

8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Registration and Breakfast

8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Leadership Summit

10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Golf Lesson

11:00 a.m. – LPGA Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club

Activities will be located in Marian Catholic’s Sr. M. Paul McCaughey Leadership Center and on the Marian Catholic campus.  Over 100 girls are registered for Girls in Golf, which promises to be an exceptional opportunity for them to grow as young golfers and future leaders.

Founded in 1958 by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Marian Catholic High School is a Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory school within the Dominican tradition of study, prayer, community and preaching.  Located in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Marian Catholic serves approximately 1000 students from over 70 communities in Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
