CHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)–April 7, 2016. In recognition of Earth Day 2016, the Sustainability Center at Prairie State College (PSC) is hosting a special event for kids, “Kids@College Go Green!”
The Saturday, April 30 event is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Matteson Area Center (MAC) at 4821 Southwick Dr. All activities are free and open to children ages four to 13.
Participating students will experience hands-on activities, science experiments and art projects to take home, as well as a special visit from the Matteson Fire Department. The day’s activities will highlight the themes from the Kids@College summer program, which is scheduled at the MAC from June 20 through July 28.
