Prairie State College to Host Job Fair April 1


CHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)–March 18, 2016. Prairie State College (PSC) invites job seekers to attend the 2016 Spring Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 1, in the Conference Center of the college, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. The fair is co-sponsored with UPS and The Chicagoland Regional College Program.

The job fair is free and open to the public, and will feature employers from various industries looking for employees with a range of education and experience levels. Company representatives will recruit for both full- and part-time positions, as well as internship opportunities. Several companies already are scheduled to participate, including the United States Postal Service, Mi-Jack Products, KinderCare Learning Center, ABC Auto Parts & Sales, Catholic Charities, St. James Health, Indian Oaks Academy, Rimland Services, SPEED District #802, and CAVO Broadband Communications, LLC.

Employer registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and as space permits. New employers regularly are added. A complete, up-to-date listing of companies and the positions they are hiring for, as well as information about job seeker pre-registration, is available at prairiestate.edu/jobfair.

Attendees are required to dress in professional business attire and encouraged to bring plenty of résumés.
