PSC Forensics Student Continues to Win Awards

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Prairie State College Forensics team member Nadia Crawley walked away with five awards at the College of DuPage Tournament held on January 30. This makes over 15 individual awards earned by Crawley this season.

Crawley was named Tournament Champion in Informative Speaking and received a second place in Persuasive Speaking, a second place in communication analysis, and a fourth place in Poetry Interpretation. She was also honored with a second place overall win among the 70 students competing at the tournament. 

Kelli Campbell, of Homewood, also placed at the tournament. She received third place in Persuasive Speaking.

Also competing at the tournament was Adrianna Carr, of Park Forest.

“It was nice to come out of winter break and start off the second half of the season with big improvements," said Dave Naze, associate professor, communication, and co-director of the Forensics program. “We look forward to the rest of the season.”

Elighie Wilson and Ed Schwarz, professors of communication, also coach the PSC Forensics Team.
