PSC Forensics Team Begins Season with Solid Start


Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Prairie State College (PSC) Forensics Team has a history of winning, and this season, they are off to a solid start to continue that tradition.

At the Moraine Valley Community College tournament on October 9, the team came home with one tournament champion win and three individual medals.

Nadia Crawley, of Lynwood, was the tournament champion in persuasive speaking. She also picked up a second place win in informative speaking.

Hannah Grasse, of Flossmoor, received a third place in persuasive speaking, and Jeremias Roman, of Glenwood, received a fifth place in speech to entertain.

 Also competing in the tournament were Kelli Campbell, of Homewood, and Adrianna Carr, of Park Forest.

 “We are off to a solid start this season and look forward to building on our team’s success,” said Dave Naze, associate professor, communication, and co-director of the Forensics program.

 Elighie Wilson and Ed Schwarz, professors of communication, also coach the PSC Forensics Team.
