PSC Forensics Team Continues to Dominate at Tournaments


Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– With the season halfway finished, the Prairie State College (PSC) Forensics Team continues to dominate at their tournaments.

At the Northwestern University tournament, which included both two-year and four-year colleges and universities, the PSC team placed fifth overall. Individually, Adrianna Carr, of Park Forest, was named tournament champion in Prose Interpretation. Nadia Crawley, of Lynwood, received a second place in Communication Analysis, a second place in Informative Speaking, a fourth place in Persuasive Speaking, and a sixth place in Poetry Interpretation.

Kelli Campbell, of Homewood, also competed at the tournament and contributed to the team’s fifth place finish.

The team is coached by professors of communication Ed Schwarz, Elighie Wilson, and David Naze.

“We are continuing to see our students improve as the season goes on, and they are beginning to hit their stride as we move into the home stretch of the season,” said Naze.

The team’s next tournament is at Harper College.
