Registration Ongoing for Summer 2010 Courses at PSC


Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Registration for summer courses continues at Prairie State College (PSC.) Credit courses include two eight-week summer sessions, which begin June 1. Non-credit courses include a variety of single day and multiple session offerings that begin throughout the summer.

Both credit and non-credit courses are listed in the summer class schedule, available on campus and at area public libraries, as well as on the PSC Web site at prairiestate.edu. The credit schedule also can be viewed online through WebAdvisor. WebAdvisor includes real-time seat count and any additional courses. Additional courses added for summer include biology, communication, physical science, math, psychology, and reading.

To register for credit courses, new students must first complete an enrollment application either in person or online. Hours of operation for Enrollment Services are Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Students can register for non-credit courses by completing the registration form available online at prairiestate.edu or in the back of the printed course schedule. Students can also register for courses in person at the Matteson Area Center located at 4821 Southwick Drive, Matteson, or in the Enrollment Services Office on the main campus at 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.
