Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Rich East High School will have seven wrestlers representing the Rockets at this weekend’s Lincoln-Way West Sectional Tournament, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11 and 12, at Lincoln-Way West High School, 21701 Gougar Road, New Lenox, Ill.
The Rockets placed second as a team at the Joliet Catholic Academy Regional Tournament last weekend with 142.5 points, behind Lincoln-Way West’s 236.
Sophomore Scottie Bonds (112 pounds) and senior Cameron Bonds (130) were regional champions for the Rockets winning gold medals. Seniors Dolapo Igori (160) and Robert Wesley (215) won silver medals. Earning bronze medals were: Marshawn Lacy (140), O’Neal Bruce (145) and Kenneth Naylor (152). All seven have advanced to this weekend’s Lincoln-Way West Sectional Tournament.
