Roosevelt University to Host Open Houses on October 12 and 19

CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—September 24, 2013. Roosevelt University will hold open houses on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Chicago Campus and on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Schaumburg Campus.

Prospective undergraduate and graduate students and their parents are invited. The open houses will be held from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the Chicago Campus, 430 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, and at the Schaumburg Campus, 1400 N. Roosevelt Blvd., near Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg.

“Our open houses are a great way to learn about academic majors and programs, talk with faculty individually, tour the campus and find out about campus life and academic resources,” said Eric Weems, head of enrollment at the University.

“High school students, current community college students, returning adults and students interested in master’s or doctoral study are encouraged to attend.”

Students and parents can meet with admission and financial aid counselors who will explain the application process and describe Roosevelt’s many scholarship opportunities.

During the Chicago Campus open house, tours will be given of Roosevelt’s new 32-story Wabash Building, the second tallest university building in the country and information will be available about Roosevelt’s 16 intercollegiate athletics teams.
