Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Board of Education for School District 163 will meet in Budget Hearing/Regular Session, Monday, September 14, 2009 at the District Office, 242 South Orchard Drive, Park Forest, Illinois. The Budget Hearing will be held in the Board Room at 8:00 p.m. The Regular Session will be called to order immediately following the Budget Hearing.
During the regular session, the board will consider the following personnel for employment by the district: Bryant Evans as a Self-Contained Teacher Assistant in the Alternate Program at Forest Trail School, effective August 14, 2009; Christine Ferguson as a l:l Special Education Teacher Assistant at Beacon Hill Primary Center, effective August 18, 2009; Michelle Cabanas a part-time Health Assistant at 21st Century Preparatory Center, effective September 8, 2009; Ebony Spence as a part-time Health Assistant at Algonquin Primary Center, effective September 9, 2009.
The Board of Education for School District 163 will meet as a Committee-of-the-Whole, Monday, September 4, 2009 at the District Office, 242 Orchard Drive, Park Forest, Illinois. The meeting will be held in the Board Room and will be called to order immediately following the Regular Session.
Items on the agenda include reports from the finance, policy, education, and legal action watch committees.
Preceding these meetings, the Board of Education will meet as a Finance Committee. The meeting will be held in the Board Room and will be called to order at 7:00 p.m.
