Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The School District 163 Board of Education will meet as an Education Committee, Monday, October 20, 2008, at the District Office, 242 South Orchard Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466. The meeting will be held in the Board Room and will be called to order at 7:00 p.m. Items on the agenda include a Forest Trail Middle Grade Center student presentation and a Summer School presentation.
The School District 163 Board of Education will meet as a Committee-of-the-Whole, Monday, October 20, 2008 at the District Office, 242 South Orchard Drive, Park Forest, Illinois. The meeting will be held in the Board Room and will be called to order at 8:00 p.m. Items on the agenda include a report from the superintendent, as well as reports from the Finance, Education, Policy and Legal Action Watch committees.
The Finance Committee is expected to report on occupancy permits for roofing and plumbing work at Algonquin Primary Center and Beacon Hill Primary Center, as well as a change in alarm service at Beacon Hill Primary Center.
The Board of Education will meet in a Special Session, Monday, October 20, 2008 at the District Office, 242 South Orchard Drive, Park Forest, IL. The meeting will be held in the Board Room and will be called to order immediately following the Committee-of-the-Whole Meeting. During this meeting, the board is expected to approve the contract between Park Forest-Chicago Heights School District 163 and Pyramid Alarm, Inc., at an installation rate of $350.00 as discussed at the Finance Committee on October 6, 2008 and Committee-of-the-Whole on October 20, 2008.
The Policy Committee has a meeting scheduled for October 27, 2008, at 8:00 p.m. at the District Office.
