Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— Seniors age 60 and older with a self-declared income of $18,889 or less annually for a single person and $25,327 or less for a household of two are eligible to receive $21.00 worth of coupons. Proof of income is not required to receive the coupons.

You may pick up your coupons at the Park Forest Health Department, 400 Forest Boulevard, Monday thru Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon. Only one coupon book per person.

This is a federally funded program that provides eligible seniors with coupons to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at local farmers’ markets. The program is administered through the Illinois Department of Human Services, Illinois Department on Aging, and Age Options.

The Farmers’ Market is held at 273 Lakewood Blvd, corner of Lakewood & Cunningham, Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to Noon until October 27, 2007.
