Chicago FBI: Charter One Bank Branch Robbery


Chicago, IL–(ENEWSPF)– On Thursday, July 29, 2010, the Charter One Bank branch, 540 West Lake Street, Addison, Illinois, was robbed by a lone, black male, the FBI reports. The man entered the bank around 3:25 p.m., walked over to the teller counter, handed the teller a note and allegedly announced a robbery, police said. Police say the suspect implied he had a weapon, though none was observed, and allegedly threatened harm if his demands for cash were not met. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the bank on foot. No injuries were reported.

The man is further described as being 35-37 years of age, 225 lbs., 6’1” tall, short dark hair, and a mustache. He was wearing a baseball-style cap, glasses, and a white t-shirt. (See photos below)
