Editor’s Note: Reports this week include a report of Sioux Street gunshots as we continue our reporting on news from Park Forest police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

A vehicle registration sticker was stolen from a vehicle’s license plate June 4 in the 100 block of Washington Street.

Livingston R. Hall, 36, 316 Windsor St., Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance and possession of cannabis following a traffic stop June 4 in the 0-100 block of Apple Lane, police said.

Police recovered a stolen vehicle June 3 in the 0-100 block of N. Arbor Trail. The vehicle was a Ford Fusion that was reported stolen May 13 out of Olympia Fields, police said.

An air conditioning unit, toilets, refrigerator, stove, and washer and dryer were reported stolen June 3 from a residence in the 300 block of Waverly Street.

Two televisions, several video game consoles and games, and a camera were stolen June 3 during a residential burglary in the 100 block of Berry Street.

A lawnmower and weed trimmer were stolen from a vehicle sometime between June 1 and June 3 in the 400 block of Springfield Street.

An SUV was stolen June 3 in the 200 block of Hickory Street.

A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle June 1, while the vehicle was parked at the Michelle Obama School, 215 Wilson Street.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle June 1 in the 0-100 block of Well Court.

Darius D. Holman, 25, 802 Union Ave., University Park, was charged with improper display of registration and possession of cannabis following a traffic stop May 30 at the intersection of Monee Road and Tamarack Street, police said.

Glass doors were damaged May 29 at Celebration Ministries Church, 424 Indianwood Boulevard.

A resident in the 300 block of Sioux Street reported gunshots fired about 12:30 a.m. May 29. A home sustained broken windows, and bullets struck a beam in the home’s ceiling and a wall in the south end of the home. According to a report, police recovered several shell casings on the street outside the home.

A driver’s side-view mirror was stolen from a vehicle between May 27 and May 28 in the 400 block of Indiana Street.

A packaged delivered to a home in the 300 block of Jackson Street was reported stolen May 26.
