Man Faces Harassment by Electronic Communication, Other Charges, When Ex Gets Picture Text


Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– A Park Forest man found himself in trouble with the law after he allegedly sent what police say was a threatening picture text message to an ex.

Joseph N. Gunderson, 20, 208 Mantua St., Park Forest, was arrested on August 5 and charged with harassment by electronic communication, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property when police were dispatched to the first block of Apache Street to investigate a criminal damage to property complaint.

Police say the complainant told them that she had received a picture text message on her cell phone from Gunderson, an ex-boyfriend. Police say the message included a picture of Gunderson allegedly holding a large gun and a message that allegedly stated, “I got something to f*** you wit [sic] bitch. Wait till I catch u [sic].” Police say they observed the photograph, allegedly sent earlier that day from a phone number registered to Gunderson, according to police.
