Palos Bank & Trust in Tinley Park Robbed


Tinley Park, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Below are bank surveillance photos depicting an individual wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Tinley Park, IL. On Wednesday, 8/18/10, a lone male entered the Palos Bank & Trust, 9400 W. 179th Street, around 1:12 p.m. Police say he walked over to the teller counter and handed the teller a note announcing a robbery. He allegedly implied he had a weapon and threatened harm if his demands for cash were not met. No weapon was observed. Police allege he handed the teller a ziplock plastic bag and instructed the teller to put the money inside. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he allegedly fled the bank on foot. No injuries were reported.

The alleged bank robber is further described as a dark complexioned male, 6’ – 6’2” tall, 180 – 200 lbs., 25 – 30 years old, wearing a fake black mustache and beard, black head covering similar to a turban, black plastic sunglasses, black button-down long-sleeve shirt, and dark pants.
