Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Thomas C. Walker, 23, 46 W. 19th St., Chicago Heights, was arrested on January 23 and charged with theft when police responded to a business in South Chicago Heights to retrieve a stolen Park Forest water meter that had been scrapped at that business.
Danielle J. Randle, 18, 420 Winnebago St., Park Forest, and a juvenile were issued municipal citations charging disorderly conduct when two officers observed two female subjects fighting in the north parking lot of the Park Forest Police Station.
A coax cable from a satellite dish at a residence in the 3200 block of Western Avenue was reported cut on January 25.
A Citizen men’s watch valued at $150, a 46-inch Insignia television valued at $800, and a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer valued at $800 were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Westgate Drive on January 25.
A 32-inch Spectrum LED HD television valued at $400 and a 42-inch Viore LED HD television valued at $300 were reported stolen from a residence in Somonauk Court on January 25.
A cell phone valued at $350 was reported stolen from a gym locker at Rich East High School on January 26.
The rear window of a vehicle parked in the first block of Apache Street was reported shattered on January 26.
A Rotary hammer/drill valued at $250 and a Sears Craftsman battery charger valued at $300 were reported stolen from a business in the 200 block of Monee Road on January 26.
A resident on Somonauk Street called police on January 27 at 3:47 AM when she discovered an intruder in her residence. The resident told police that she was lying in her bed when she heard noises on the outside of the residence, but that the noises were caused by a raccoon or a cat, according to police. A short time later, police say she looked toward her bedroom door and observed a male black subject with his pants down, masturbating. Police say she yelled at the subject to leave her residence. The subject then asked if he could perform a sexual act on her. She yelled as the subject began to leave her house, and that she was going to contact police. The subject then said, "I’m sorry," pulled up his pants and left the residence, according to police. Police say the resident then pushed a panic alarm from a medical key fob she had nearby. The suspect is described as male, black, medium complexion, approximately 5’9", 180 pounds, with no facial hair, wearing a blue top, jeans, and a blue winter cap.
A 46-inch RCA HDTV valued at $550, an HP Pavilion desktop computer valued at $450, a Nintendo Wii game console valued at $200, and an HP 20-inch flat-screen computer monitor valued at $200 are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Mantua Street on January 27.
A juvenile told police that, after leaving Rich East High School on January 28, while walking along Lakewood Boulevard shortly after 6 PM, a man ran past him and grabbed his cell phone case from his waistband. The cell phone case was valued at $10.
Nicole R. Otterson, 20, 192 Washington St., Park Forest, and Cori A. Hughes, 302 Minocqua St., Park Forest, were arrested on January 28 and issued municipal citations charging possession of cannabis when an officer driving west on Sauk Trail observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Sauk Trail, according to police. The vehicle was towed from the scene after an administrative seizure charging unlawful drugs in a motor vehicle was issued.
Jose D. Oliver, 47, 9 Apple Ln, Park Forest, was arrested on January 28 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the first block of Apple Lane to investigate a report of domestic battery.
Divine S. Boykin, 21, 4800 Eliza Farnham Dr., Springfield, IL, was arrested on January 28 and charged with theft when police responded to the 300 block of Marquette Street in response to a 911 hang-up.
Darrie L. McMurray, 31, 67 E. 34th St., Steger, was arrested on January 29 and charged with possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Algonquin Street to investigate a domestic dispute. McMurray was subsequently charged and processed on an extraditable warrant out of Crown Point, Indiana, charging vehicle theft.
A juvenile told police on January 29 that he was walking South on Orchard Drive just South of the Aqua Center when he was knocked to the ground by a male subject who "crept up behind him." As he was knocked to the ground, his eyeglasses fell off his face, according to police. Police say the subject stole the juvenile’s iPod Shuffle, Sony PSP charging cord and headphones.
A juvenile was issued a municipal citation charging disorderly conduct when police were dispatched to Rich East High School on January 29 to investigate a disturbance. Another juvenile was issued a municipal citation charging disorderly conduct and a second citation charging battery. A third juvenile was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. A fourth juvenile was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. The four students were in custody on various unrelated offenses, according to police.
A briefcase was reported stolen from the back seat of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of East Sycamore Drive on January 30.
Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Indianwood Boulevard on January 30 to investigate a possible residential burglary. Police observed that a back door was open and that the window in the door had been broken out. It was raining outside and the ground outside the rear door was wet and muddy. Police gathered evidence from the scene.
Doir V. Coleman, 21, 48 Woodland Glen, Park Forest, was arrested on January 31 and charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a firearm when police were dispatched to the first block of South Orchard Drive to investigate a report of a subject with a gun. Police recovered a loaded .380 semi-automatic Baikal pistol containing seven live .380 rounds of ammunition from Coleman’s waistband, according to police. Police processed another individual at the scene, Randy Brown, 22, address refused, on an active arrest warrant on a traffic violation.
Karlin J. House, 29, 4111 W 127th St., Alsip, was arrested on January 31 and charged with possession of cannabis, driving in the wrong lane, and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle when an officer patrolling in the area of Western Avenue and South Street observed the vehicle House was driving traveling southbound on Western Avenue in the northbound lanes, according to police.
Brikyle A. Walls, 17, 22442 Lawndale Dr., Richton Park, was arrested on January 31 and charged with felony theft of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor possession of stolen property when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Sauk Trail to investigate the theft of a motor vehicle. A juvenile was processed in connection with this incident and will be petitioned to juvenile court on one count of burglary, according to police.
