Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Mitchell F. Thurman, 29, 16406 S. Trumbell Ave., Markham, was arrested on March 28 and charged with possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a disturbance.
A 42-inch LG brand flatscreen television valued at $1000 and a jewelry box with jewelry valued at $300, were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Main Street on March 29.
Terrence O. Harris, 28, 22509 Edward Dr. #6A, Richton Park, was arrested on March 31 and charged with one count of felony burglary to a motor vehicle and resisting a peace officer after police were dispatched to Chestnut Street at Cromwell Street to investigate a report of burglary from a motor vehicle that had just occurred.
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 400 block of Shabbona Drive on April 2. The vehicle was recovered by the Chicago Heights Police Department on April 3 in the 1600 block of Portland Avenue. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
A window of a residence in the 300 block of Oswego Street was reported shattered on April 2.
Drakkar D. Tinnel, 22, 2029 216th St., Sauk Village, was arrested on April 5 and charged with domestic battery after police responded to the 100 block of Nanti Street on April 3 to investigate a report of domestic battery. Tinnel voluntarily responded to the Police Department, according to police.
Byron J. Taylor, Jr., 29, 219 Indianwood Blvd, Park Forest, was arrested on April 3 and charged with a violation of an order of protection when police responded to the 200 block of Indianwood Boulevard to investigate a burglar alarm.
Lee O. Cole, 32, 293 Allegheny St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 4 and charged with domestic battery, resisting a peace officer, and interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery when police responded to a 911 open-line call in the 200 block of Allegheny Street where dispatch advised that they heard items being thrown, according to police.
A juvenile was arrested on April 4 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis, and issued citations charging no rear plate light, no turn signal, no driver’s license, and no proof of insurance when police in the area of Shabbona Drive and Somonauk Street observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed.
Richard L. Williams, 20, 1151 Williamsburg Rd., Country Club Hills, was arrested on April 4 and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance when an officer observed suspicious activity while on patrol in the first block of Main Street. Robert E. Bethely, 26, 4521 Heartland Dr., #29C, Richton Park, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and processed on a warrant out of Will County. Johnny L. Carter, 28, 1151 Williamsburg Rd., Country Club Hills, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis.
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Lee Street on April 6 to investigate a burglary incident. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
A window of a residence in the 300 block of Oswego Street valued at $600 was reported shot through with a BB gun on April 7.
A Park Forest Department of Public Works Crew Leader reported finding a black handgun while cleaning a storm drain in the first block of Westwood Court on April 7. The firearm was turned over to police.
A brick was reported thrown through a bedroom window of a residence in the 400 block of Suwanee Street on April 7.
Rolando Wilcoxon, 46, 9446 Parnell St., Chicago, was arrested on April 8 and charged with possession of cannabis, driving on a suspended driver’s license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage when an officer on patrol in the area of Sauk Trail and Western Avenue observed the vehicle Wilcoxon was driving allegedly change from the curb lane to the left lane without signaling a lane change, according to police.
Corrie T. Norman, 31, 707 Travers Ave., Chicago Heights, was arrested on April 8 and charged with possession of cannabis and issued a citation charging speeding when an officer observed the vehicle Norman was driving southbound on Western Avenue at Indianwood Boulevard traveling at a high rate of speed, according to police. Police say Norman was traveling 53 mph in a posted 35 mph speed area.
A juvenile was arrested on April 8 and charged with theft and aggravated assault when officers working at Rich East High School were informed of an incident that had occurred outside the school.
James Coleman, Jr., 58, 403 Wilshire St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 9 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and processed on an active warrant out of Harvey, Illinois, charging driving on a revoked license when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Wilshire Street to investigate a report of an unwanted subject.
Angela Maria Stephens, 19, 39 Apple Ln., Park Forest, was arrested on April 9 and charged with disorderly conduct/false transmission of 911, when police were dispatched to the first block of Apple Lane to investigate a report of an armed prowler at the back door of a residence.
