Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.
An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Cedrick Williams, 52, 2886 Western Avenue, Park Forest, Illinois, was arrested on April 13 and charged on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear when police observed suspicious activity in the 200 block of Allegheny Street.
An Acer computer, two 32-inch Panasonic televisions, and an Apple iMac computer were among items reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Indiana Street on April 14.
Police were dispatched to St. James Hospital to investigate a domestic battery complaint on April 15. Detectives are investigating.
A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Wilson Street on April 15.
Police were dispatched to the first block of Apache Street on April 15 to investigate a report of telephone harassment.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Osage Street to investigate a complaint of criminal damage to property on April 15. Police observed damage to the entry door to the detached garage and the entry door to the house.
An Eotech rifle scope was reported stolen from a house in the 300 block of Wilshire Street on April 16. The item was delivered by USPS and left outside the residence.
An i-Phone 4s was reported stolen from a gym locker at Rich East High School on April 17.
A 55-inch Samsung LED television was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Hay Street when police were dispatched to investigate a report of a residential burglary on April 17. Another 32-inch Dynex television was found in the backyard of the residence.
A wooden deck at Blackhawk School, 130 Blackhawk Drive, was reported damaged on April 18.
Kizzie M. Beck, 34, 100 Chestnut St., Park Forest, was issued a local ordinance citation charging unlawful child visitation interference on April 19 after police were dispatched to the 200 block of Lakewood Boulevard to investigate a claim of unlawful child visitation interference on April 18.
A door of a residence in the 300 block of Indianwood Boulevard was discovered damaged on April 18 when police were dispatched to investigate a report of a residential burglary.
An attempted residential burglary in the 200 block of Grant Street was thwarted on April 18 when a resident observed two male subjects allegedly attempting to open a window of his residence. The resident yelled at the subjects, who then ran off. The resident then called police, who continue to investigate.
A bicycle was reported stolen from the 500 block of Davis Street on April 18 when police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a theft of a bicycle complaint.
A garage was reported damaged in the 300 block of Minocqua Street on April 18 when police were dispatched to investigate a report of a hit and run.
Two 17-inch laptops with webcams, two $50 bills, and a pair of headphones were reported stolen from a residence when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Herndon Street on April 19 to investigate a possible residential burglary. Police say the owner of the house arrived home and heard several loud noises coming from an upstairs bedroom. The resident then screamed “Get the f*** out of my house, I got a gun.” The resident then heard several subjects run to the back of the house and jump out of a second story window. Police are investigating.
A 34-inch Vizio television, a 47-inch Panasonic television, and a Playstation 3 video game console and game were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Hickory Street when police were dispatched to investigate a report of residential burglary on April 19.
Four vehicles parked in the first block of Cedar Street each had one tire slashed on April 19. Police are investigating.
A Nintendo Wii gaming console and a Nintendo Wii game were reported stolen on April 19 from a residence in the first block of Fir Street when police were dispatched to investigate a report of a theft.
Donielle S. Maxwell, 26, 250 Charles Street, Chicago Heights, was arrested on April 20 and charged with obstructing a peace officer and processed on an outstanding warrant charging driving while license was suspended when an officer observed that the vehicle she was driving southbound on Western Avenue from South Street was missing a front registration plate, according to police.
