Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Timothy J. Paige, 25, 3386 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on July 25 and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, improper display of a license plate, and failure to wear a properly adjusted and fastened safety belt when an officer patrolling in the area of Western Avenue and Indianwood Boulevard observed the vehicle Paige was driving turn southbound onto Western Avenue from Indianwood Boulevard without signaling, according to police.
Police confiscated $4200 from a man they observed leaving a vacant residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street on July 29. The man, currently on parole for a felony conviction, told police the cash was intended for the purchase of a car. Detectives are investigating.
A mobile phone valued at $100 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Arcadia Street on August 1.
Police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on August 1 to investigate a complaint of domestic battery. Officers continue to investigate.
A door knob of a garage door in the 300 block of Meota Street was reported vandalized on August 1. Police observed that the knob appeared to have been struck multiple times with an unknown-type blunt object.
Police were dispatched to Algonquin School on August 1 in reference to a complaint of a fight in the area. A woman told police that her great grandson had been attacked by a group of juveniles while he was at Eastgate Park. Police continue to investigate. Two juveniles were arrested and charged in connection with this report of battery on August 2.
A Weedeater lawnmower and a refrigerator were reported stolen from a detached garage in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street on August 1.
Mark Harvey, 25, 22515 Jackson Ct., Richton Park, was arrested on August 2 and charged with assault when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Sauk Trail to investigate a report of a fight in progress.
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Allegheny Street on August 2 to investigate a report of a burglary that had just been discovered. A Hewlett-Packard laptop computer valued at $500, a security camera monitor valued at $500, a lockbox valued at $100 and a PlayStation 3 videogame console value to $350 were reported stolen. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
A Hewlett-Packard laptop valued at $600 and an 80 GB iPod music player valued at $250 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Nauvoo Street on August 2.
An officer was summoned to the Park Forest Police Department on August 2 to investigate a report of a threatening phone call. Police have suspect information.
David J. Thomas, 35, 177 E. Sycamore St., Apt. 503, Park Forest, was arrested on August 2 and charged with possession of cannabis and issued a citation charging speeding when detectives traveling northbound on Western Avenue at Sauk Trailed paced the vehicle Thomas was driving at 60 mph in the posted 35 mph zone, according to police.
An officer was dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on August 3 in reference to a report of domestic battery. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
A JVC CD player valued at $100, a Blackberry cell phone valued at $300, and a Samsung Intrepid cell phone valued at $300 were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3500 block of Western Avenue on August 4.
Jesus Jackson-Bey, 20, 257 Rich Road, Park Forest, was arrested on August 4 and charged with obstructing a peace officer when an officer on foot patrol in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard asked Jackson-Bey his name.
Adam Rodriguez-Shaw, 30, 1310 Scott St., Chicago Heights, was arrested on August 4 and charged with possession of cannabis when detectives on patrol observed the vehicle Rodriguez-Shaw was driving turned right onto South Dogwood Street from Western Avenue without using a turn signal, according to police.
Three juveniles were arrested on August 4 and charged with possession of cannabis when detectives on patrol observed a vehicle parked in two parking spaces in the Central Park lot in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard.
Two catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles parked at the 211th Street Metra Lot on August 5.

A white and silver Mongoose trail bike valued at $250 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Mantua Street on August 5.
Lloyd S. Anderson, 30, 577 Homan Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on August 6 and charged with possession of cannabis when an officer patrolling in the area of 520 Homan Avenue, the Metra Commuter Lot, observed Anderson walking through the parking lot on foot. Due to the recent episodes of vandalism and vehicular burglaries, the officer stopped Anderson as he exited the parking lot.
Two bicycles, a blue and silver Mongoose BMX bike valued at $200 and a blue BMX bike valued at $200, were reported stolen from outside Walgreens Pharmacy, 15 S. Orchard Dr., on August 6. The bicycles had not been secured.
Three juveniles were arrested on August 5 and charged with possession of cannabis while detectives were on surveillance in the Metra Lot, 520 Homan Avenue.
Two juveniles were arrested on August 6 and charged with obstructing the roadway when detectives on patrol in an unmarked police vehicle in the area of West Allegheny and Arrowhead Streets had to stop their vehicle when the juveniles walked directly in front of their vehicle. The detective driving the vehicle had to slam the brakes, after which one of juveniles allegedly stated, "You better move the f*** out of my way, man," according to police.
A window of a church in the 400 block of Indianwood Boulevard was reported shattered by a brick on August 7.
Police responded to the first block of Liems Street on August 7 to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. There were no arrests. The alleged victims were provided a copy of the Illinois Domestic Violence Act Victim Information sheet.
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Allegheny Street on August 7 to investigate a report of a fight. Police are still investigating.
A window of a residence in the first block of Hemlock Street was reported shattered on August 8.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Sauk Trail and Western Avenue to investigate a report of domestic battery. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
Andre Falconer, 53, 346 Sauk Trail, Park Forest, was arrested on August 9 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Sauk Trail to investigate a report of domestic battery.
A man told police on August 9 that while driving his vehicle on Lakewood Boulevard shortly after 11:30 AM, he saw a group of four teenagers standing on the north side of the street near Forest Trail Middle School. As he drove towards the teenagers, one of them allegedly threw a rock at the vehicle striking the passenger side-view mirror, breaking the mirror completely off the vehicle. The teenagers then ran northbound, according to police.
