Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

A Nintendo Wii console with two controllers valued at $299.99, a Kenwood DVD player valued at $800, four 12-inch Kicker speakers valued at $400, and four 22-inch chrome rims with tires valued at $2100, were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Stanton Street on July 22.

Jose A. Trevino, 36, 71 Marquette St., Park Forest, was arrested on July 22 and issued a municipal citation under ordinance number 118-43, “Restrictions to All Residential Districts.” Police were dispatched to that address to investigate a report of someone operating a business at that residence. Detective Taylor responded and observed three vehicles parked in the driveway with subjects doing mechanical work on the vehicles, according to police. Trevino allegedly told police that he does contract work, business is slow, and he does mechanic work to make some extra money, according to police.

An Xbox 360 game console, six Xbox video games valued at $200, a white gold diamond heart pendant valued at $500, a Noah’s Ark bracelet valued at $350, a gold and silver watch valued at $100, four other watches valued at $385, a purse valued at $100, and a Toshiba DVD camcorder valued at $325 were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Somonauk Street on July 24.

A "Gary Fisher" BMX boy’s bicycle, valued at $250, was reported stolen from Indiana Park on July 25.

A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested on July 26 and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Shabbona Drive to investigate a disturbance involving two juveniles trying to fight with another juvenile. According to the report, one of the juveniles was allegedly armed with a knife.

A 13-inch-television set, valued at $50, and a lamp, valued at $20, were reported stolen from the first block of West Rocket Circle on July 26.

A boy’s BMX Magna Invader bicycle, valued at $150, was reported stolen from the first block of West Rocket Circle on July 27. A juvenile was arrested and processed on a charge of theft and resisting in connection with this report.

Isaac M. Rule, 19, 20200 Mohawk Trail, Olympia Fields, was arrested on July 27 and charged with retail theft when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Sauk Trail to investigate a report of retail theft. Rule allegedly took three packs of Starburst candy valued at $3.18 because he was "homeless and hungry," according to police.

Police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on July 27 to investigate a report of the violation of an order of protection. Police continue to investigate.

The windshield of a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Davis Street was reported damaged on July 27. Police observed two small holes that appeared to be made by BBs, according to police.

A 32-inch Westinghouse flat-screen television valued at $1500, two 20-inch Philips flat-screen television sets valued at $900, a Nintendo Wii game system valued at $299.99, an Xbox 360 valued at $299.99, a DVD burner valued at $1500, a Gateway desktop computer valued at $800, a Nintendo DS valued at $130, a Nintendo GameCube valued at $60, one pair of pearl earrings valued at $250, a pair of princess-cut 0.5 carat diamond earrings valued at $800, a watch valued at $85, a silver men’s watch valued at $125, and a black and gold men’s watch valued at $80 were reported stolen from a residence in the 3400 block of Western Avenue on July 27.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street on July 27 to investigate a report of a residential burglary. Items reported missing were a Samsung 32-inch flat-screen television set valued at $700, a laptop computer, and a number of DVD movies valued at $200.

A dark blue "Next" men’s mountain bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Suwanee Street on July 27.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested on July 27 and charged with trespassing and theft after police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Westwood Drive to investigate the reported theft of a seven-month old Rottweiler with pedigree papers, purchased in the amount of $1400. After conducting an investigation, police located the dog in the garage of a residence in the 100 block of Larue Street.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street to investigate a report of an open door. Police discovered all of the rooms appeared to be in disarray, with several cabinet and dresser drawers open, with items lying on the floor near the doors. Police continue to investigate.

The rear passenger-side door of a vehicle parked in the 23400 block of Western Avenue was reported scratched on July 28.

A woman reported being shot with a BB while driving on Western Avenue last week. Police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on July 29 to investigate a report of battery. A resident reported that while driving southbound on Western Avenue at McCarthy Road, she suddenly felt a pain on the right side of her face, but did not see anything or anyone. The front passenger window of the vehicle was partially open. She drove home and found a small green BB in her vehicle. She also observed a welt on the right side of her face. At this point, she went to the police station. Police continue to investigate.

Eight Malibu solar-powered outdoor lamps, valued at $160, were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Lee Street on July 29.

Robert Johnson, 18, 23447 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on July 29 and charged with underage consumption of alcohol when detectives on foot patrol in the area of Oakwood Manor Apartments observed two subjects standing near a tree on the north side of the parking lot at 11:40 p.m. While speaking with the two individuals, one of the detectives allegedly smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Johnson’s person, according to police. When questioned, Johnson allegedly told police that he had been drinking a few beers.

A green girl’s "Next" bicycle, valued at $75, was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of South Orchard Drive on July 30.

Neitria L. Adams, 20, 9730 S. King Dr., Chicago, was arrested on July 30 and issued citations charging defective exhaust/excessive noise, driving without a driver’s license, and no proof of insurance ,when an officer on patrol observed the vehicle Adams was driving traveling eastbound on Westwood Drive at North Orchard Drive, emitting excessive noise from the exhaust muffler, according to police. A passenger in the vehicle, Jennifer R. Terrell, 20, 7908 Langley Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis.

Usher Sawyer III, 52, 318 Shawnee St., Park Forest, was arrested on July 30 and charged with aggravated assault when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Sauk Trail to investigate a report of aggravated assault.
