Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Lonnie E. Williams, 36, 220 Wilson St., Park Forest, was arrested on May 13 and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license, driving in the wrong lane, and illegal operation of a sound amplification system when detectives observed the vehicle Williams was driving make a right turn from Lester Road on to McGarity Road, allegedly heading towards the unmarked police vehicle, forcing the detectives’ vehicle to stop in order to not be struck by Williams’ car, according to police.

Police responded to the 100 block of Forest Boulevard on May 15 to investigate a report of a harassing phone call. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.

Aquan L. Ecford, 30, 423 Suwanee St., Park Forest, was arrested on May 15 and charged with assault and trespassing when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Suwanee Street regarding a report of a disturbance.

Ron K. Barnes, 47, 371 Lakewood Blvd., Park Forest, was arrested on May 15 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Lakewood Boulevard to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. Additionally, police say they placed a firearm into evidence for safekeeping pending the outcome of the case at the request of the complainant. Barnes was found to have a valid FOID card.

Two teenagers were arrested on May 15 and charged with battery when police responded to the 100 block of Larue Street to investigate a report of battery.

Eva M. Jackson, 35, 315 Waldmann Dr., Park Forest, was arrested on May 17 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Waldmann Drive to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.

A juvenile was arrested on May 17 and charged with disorderly conduct when an officer working at Rich East High School was informed that there was a fight involving two students near the gym. A second juvenile was arrested and charged with resisting a police officer and disorderly conduct.

Two juveniles were arrested on May 17 and charged with criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to land after they allegedly caused over $7000 in damage to the inside of a vacant home in the 200 block of Somonauk Street. When police arrived at the residence, they observed broken glass shards and drywall remains near the ankle of one of the juvenile’s jeans. A third juvenile was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to land, and obstructing.

Davonte Brown, 18, 175 Indianwood Blvd., Park Forest, was arrested on May 17 and charged with disorderly conduct when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard in reference to a complaint of a disturbance.

The rear window and both front and rear driver’s side windows of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Lester Street were reported shattered on May 20.

Carlston J. Armour, 22, 2805 Vollmer Rd., Flossmoor, was arrested on May 20 and charged with possession of cannabis and driving with one headlamp when an officer driving eastbound on Lakewood Boulevard observed that the vehicle Armour was driving had only one headlamp, according to police.

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Westgate Drive on May 20 to investigate a report of domestic battery. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
