Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Johnny L. Robinson, 51, 311 Springfield St., Park Forest, was issued a municipal citation charging criminal trespass to land when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Lakewood Boulevard in reference to a report of criminal trespass to land.
Police say two iPad 2 computers were reported stolen from Algonquin School, 170 Algonquin Street, on August 28.
Brandon E. Smith, 19, 128 Well St., Park Forest, and Shanice R. Davice, 302 Indiana St., Park Forest, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct when police were dispatched to the 500 block of Lakewood Boulevard in reference to a criminal damage to property complaint. Police say the two spontaneously stated that they wrote their names in freshly-poured concrete and did not realize it was a crime, according to police.

A man told police that he left the Metra train at the Park Forest stop at approximately 10 p.m. and proceeded to walk eastbound on Lincoln Highway. As he approached N. Orchard Drive, he began walking south on North Orchard on the east side of the street. At that point, according to police, someone struck him on the back of the head. He fell to the ground and two others joined in the attack. The three took his wallet, a book bag he was carrying, and his mobile phone. Police are investigating.
Cameron F. Bonds, 19, 229 Berry St., Park Forest, was arrested on August 30 and charged with two counts of endangering the life and health of a child when police responded to the 200 block of Berry Street to check on the well-being of two juveniles left home alone, according to police.
A silver Dell laptop computer and a PS3 game system were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Chestnut Street on August 30.
A sliding glass door of a residence in the 200 block of Westwood Drive was reported damaged on August 30.
A 16 GB black iPhone 4S valued at $200 was reported stolen from the football locker room at Rich East High School, 300 Sauk Trail, on August 30.
Tiara M. Nailon, 30, 268 Allegheny St., Park Forest, was arrested on August 30 and charged with disorderly conduct, driving while license was suspended, and no valid proof of insurance when officers responded to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a report that a subject was being followed in a car and that the subject was alarmed. A juvenile passenger in Ms. Nailon’s car was issued a municipal citation charging disorderly conduct.
Three juveniles were processed on charges of disorderly conduct when police responded to the 300 block of Sauganash Street in reference to reports of suspicious subjects running from the backyard of a residence.
A juvenile was arrested on August 30 and processed on a charge of residential burglary and another charge of residential burglary and attempted residential burglary with respect to two other cases when police located a juvenile suspected of burglaries in the 100 block of Chestnut Street during school hours.
Approximately $175 in copper piping was reported stolen from a residence in the 3300 block of Western Avenue on August 31.
Timothy H. Tapp, 48, 350 Juniper St., Apt. 808, Park Forest, was arrested on September 1 and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a police officer when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Juniper Street to investigate a neighbor dispute.
Nicholas L. Johnson, 27, 267 W. Hickory St., Chicago Heights, was arrested on September 2 and charged with possession of cannabis and issued traffic citations charging driving while license was suspended, improper parking, and operation of a motor vehicle without insurance. According to police, an officer was on patrol in the area of Western Avenue and North Street when the officer observed a vehicle parked in the southbound Lane on Western Avenue without its hazard lights activated. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and observed the driver to be asleep in the driver’s seat with the engine running. The officer reached through the open driver’s side window, turned off the vehicle and took the keys out of the ignition. The officer then woke up the driver who stated that he was on his way home, was stopped by the train and must have fallen asleep.
Daryl K. Steele, 25, 217 Sauk Trail, Park Forest, was arrested on September 3 and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct when police responded to the 200 block of Sauk Trail in reference to a report of battery.
A blue 21-speed Mongoose mountain bike valued at $150 was reported stolen from the 300 block of Juniper Street on September 3.
Police say a resident told them an unauthorized online payment in the amount of $2761 was made from a Chase Bank account on September 3. Chase Bank closed the account. The resident wanted to report the incident of fraud.
A door of a garage in the first block of Water Street was reported forced open on September 3.
Joshua D. Brantley, 25, 12551 S. Emerald Ave., Chicago, was arrested on September 4 and charged with obstructing identification when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Wildwood Drive to conduct a premise exam.
Four catalytic converters valued at $1100 each were reported stolen from trucks at a business in the 2200 block of Western Avenue on September 4.
Approximately $5.00 cash was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the first block of Cedar Street on September 4.
Approximately 20 silver dollars, 12 to 15 pairs of white ankle socks, a box of Cheez-Itz, and a small plastic camera were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Berry Street on September 4.
A driver’s license and a number of credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Indiana Street on September 4.
