Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—August 14, 2012. The documentary film ‘American Autumn: an Occudoc’ will be screened in Washington, DC on Monday, August 20 at 7 p.m. Director Dennis Trainor, Jr., will be present to introduce the film and answer questions afterward. A number of activists featured in the film will be present as well. The event will take place at: Busboys and Poets, 5th and K Streets, NW. Admission is free. A cash bar and dinner menu will be available.
‘American Autumn: an Occudoc’ is the first feature-length documentary on the Occupy movement. This fast-paced, fact-filled production was filmed in New York, Boston, and Washington D.C., beginning in the earliest days of the movement. The film recounts recent history in a manner quite different from what many viewers may recall of it. American Autumn answers those who continue to ask “What does the Occupy movement stand for?”

Dennis Trainor, Jr. is currently the host of http://AcronymTV.com He has been writing and producing editorial video commentary since 2007, publishing over 800 videos during that span. His videos have garnered over 30 million views on Youtube alone. He formerly published under the alias “Davis Fleetwood” and while doing so was an embedded Youtube personality/ media advisor on the staff of Dennis Kucinich’s 2008 presidential campaign. American Autumn: An Occudoc is his first full-length field documentary.

The film includes an original score by Goldi (an OWS occupier and key member of Guitarmy), with additional original music created by Mike Lawrence-Yanicelli. The legendary DC area punk band FUGAZI supplied additional songs.
