Pennsylvania—(ENEWSPF)—October 9, 2012.  Judge John Cleland has sentenced former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky to face no less than 30 years and no more than 60 years in prison for his convictions on child abuse charges.  Sandusky is being given credit for the 112 days he has already served.

Judge Cleland also designated Sandusky as a sexually violent offender.  Sandusky was convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period.  He was facing a maximum of 400 years in prison.

Sandusky’s attorneys have 10 days to appeal the decision.  Sandusky continues to maintain that he is innocent.
