Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump: We Can Still Make It in America

COLORADO–(ENEWSPF)–August 3, 2016. Today, Hillary Clinton visited the Knotty Tie Company in Denver, Colorado to highlight Donald Trump’s hypocritical and embarrassing history of outsourcing jobs overseas while claiming to fight for the American worker. Trump, who has claimed outsourcing is “sometimes…a necessary step,” has made dozens of his products in other countries while making a hollow pledge to bring jobs back to the United States.

“I wish Donald Trump could meet all of you and see what you are making here,” Clinton said “I really would like him to explain why he paid Chinese workers to make Trump ties…instead of deciding to make those ties right here in Colorado with a company like Knotty.”

Clinton, making her case for the biggest investment in new, good-paying jobs since World War II, debunked Trump’s ridiculous excuse that “they don’t even make this stuff here” and launched HillaryClinton.com/make-it-here, a website that showcases more than 100 places in America that make the products Trump makes overseas.

Buzzfeed: Even since launching his presidential campaign, Trump “has sought and won permission from the Department of Labor to hire at least 186 foreign guest workers for jobs at his resorts, golf courses, and vineyards in New York, Florida, and Virginia.”
