LOUISIANA—(ENEWSPF)—November 16, 2012. NBC news is reporting that an oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico about 17 miles southeast of Grand Isle, Louisiana. Two people are missing. Four people have been airlifted to an area hospital. The U.S. Coast Guard is searching the waters for the missing people.
