DOD Identifies Army Casualty, September 1, 2011


Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–September 1, 2011. The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. 

Pfc. Alberto L. Obod Jr., 26, of Orlando, Fla., died Aug. 28 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered during a vehicle roll-over.  He was assigned to the 391st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Bamberg, Germany.
