Auburn Hills, Mich.–(ENEWSPF)–December 15, 2010. Chrysler Group LLC will conduct a voluntary safety recall to owners of certain 2008 Chrysler Town & Country and 2008 Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan minivans to inspect and replace as necessary Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) drain hose grommets. Some vehicles may have an improperly installed HVAC hose grommet that could cause moisture to collect on the floor and damage the airbag deployment module.
The Company is not aware of any accidents or fatalities resulting from this issue. Chrysler Group LLC will inspect all potentially affected vehicles and replace the affected component as necessary. This will be completed at no cost to the consumer.

Approximately 367,350 vehicles are affected.
