Biosan Laboratories Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Soy in Vitamin and Nutritional Supplements


Silver Spring, Maryland–(ENEWSPF)–February 8, 2011.  BioSan Laboratories, Inc is conducting a voluntary recall on its products sold under the EssentialsTM and RightFoodTM Brands, as well as Therapeutix Cardio Strength and Innate Cardio Response.  These products may contain undeclared soy flour.

The voluntary recall applies to the products listed below in all tablet counts:

The product is distributed nationwide through retail stores, internet and healthcare practitioners.

The recall was initiated by BioSan Laboratories as a result of a quality review at the company. People with allergies or severe sensitivity to soy flour may be at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

BioSan Laboratories has received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. No other products produced by BioSan Laboratories are involved in this recall. Consumers who have purchased any of the items listed may return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
