The Chicago and Cook County Building and Construction Trades Council is proud to represent the most highly skilled and productive craft workforce in the Chicago area. We work to establish and protect wage and benefit standards that ensure careers in the construction industry are a path to the Middle Class. It is critically important in this upcoming Presidential election that we support a candidate regardless of party, that will be a champion for our members. A candidate that will stand up to attacks on Davis Bacon and prevailing wage at all levels of government. We need a candidate with a plan to invest in a modern infrastructure that will help rebuild our roads and bridges but also make necessary investments in our energy infrastructure and future. For these reasons, the Chicago and Cook County Building and Construction Trades Council is proud to support Secretary Hillary Clinton for President of the United States.
Secretary Clinton has the unique experience and record of accomplishment that will ensure she will be an effective President of the United States and champion for the men and women of the building trades. Secretary Clinton will be a partner and tenacious fighter for the Middle Class. We look forward to the work we have ahead to ensure she is victorious in the Illinois primary election on March 15th and on to the general election.
