Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–June 12, 2011. The Village of Park Forest was selected by the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus to receive technical assistance to develop a housing policy plan. This plan will establish housing policies and strategies for the next 20 years. The next major milestone in this project is a public meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Dining on the Green, 349 Main Street in DownTown Park Forest. All members of the Park Forest community are invited to participate in this interactive workshop. Participants will work in small groups to help create a vision for future housing in Park Forest. Refreshments will be provided.
