Nancy Kreith, Master Gardener and Horticultural Educator at the University of Illinois Extension to present ‘Composting Basics’ on Saturday, July 11
Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—July 10, 2015. The St. Irenaeus Community Garden Group will host a free community workshop on ‘Composting Basics.’ The workshop will take place on Saturday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Irenaeus Community Garden located west of the Park Forest Post Office (between the Post Office and St. Irenaeus Church — Orchard Drive & Indianwood).
Nancy Kreith, Horticultural Educator at the University of Illinois Extension, will provide information on how to recycle your vegetable scraps, leaves and other organic matter into compost, also known to gardeners as ‘Black Gold.’
